We believe in kids

We love children at Lord’s Church LA! We believe that God has a special plan for every single one. God commands us to teach and train our children in His ways according to Deuteronomy 6:4-7 and Proverbs 22:6. We believe that it is our mandate to raise up kids in the way they should go so that when they grow older, they won’t turn from it. Our goal is that your children will love every moment they are at church and be excited to come back and learn more about Jesus.

We believe that even though they may be young and small, kids are people too. The same way that you wouldn’t feed an infant adult food, every child deserves an age-appropriate and engaging and fun experience. We think kids need something that reaches them on their level. We do this through interactive biblical lessons, times of worship through song, relevant and creative crafts, and most importantly through having fun! 

The Lord’s Church LA Kids ministry serves children up to 5th grade and is available 9:30AM and 10:30AM during our Sunday gatherings. Children remain in the main sanctuary for praise and worship and are then dismissed to their classrooms for the remainder of the service. One of our hosts will be happy to assist you if you need help locating the kids area.

Little Kids

If you have Infants and/or Toddlers…

We have a nursery room set aside by the main auditorium where you can watch the service on a live video feed while caring for your baby. Just ask one of our friendly volunteers to point you in the right direction and they’ll be happy to assist you.

Younger Kids (Ages 3-6)

They’ll love our Younger Kids room which provides a fun-filled environment with plenty of room for discovery and creativity. Kids in this age range love to learn with their hands, so we utilize crafts and activities to reinforce each week’s gospel lesson.

Something for
bigger kids

Bigger Kids (Ages 7-12)

Your “Pre-teens” will enjoy connecting with other kids in their age in this class as well as our church volunteers. After a time of singing worship songs in the main sanctuary they are dismissed to their classes and engage in a fun and energetic activity followed up by a group discussion in order to understand and apply each week’s Bible lesson. We desire for kids at this critical age to have a deeply rooted understanding of the gospel to serve as a stable foundation through good and hard times.

Something for youth

Junior High and High School Youth (Ages 13+)

Every Sunday, Lord’s Church LA Youth invites students into a safe place where that can connect with one another and be challenged by the gospel. We strive to equip our students with practical Biblical principles that will help them cope with the challenges of “growing up” today. These meetings also serve as a unique opportunity to ask questions and build relationships. Youth Connects on Sunday mornings at 9:30AM. You won’t want to miss out!

Children's Director Rhonda Douma has a heart for seeing the next generation raised the right way. She believes that every child has a special and unique purpose. Whether it's singing, dancing, or painting, kids can't get enough of her fun-filled approach to learning.
